We have great legs!!

STEEL GUITAR LEGS

For standard pedal steel guitars using the 1/2"x 13 thread

We are a manufacturers manufacturer. The legs we make are used by a majority of the best known steel guitar companies for their top of the line steel guitars. More than one have told us that ours are the best legs in the industry. We have worked hard to develop and maintain a top quality product, and to support the great companies that are making fine steel guitars in America.

Now we are preparing to offer these same legs on a retail basis for individuals and shops which would like to upgrade some of the older steel guitars being played around the country.

Our legs have the standard 1/2" x 13 plug which fits the majority of the steel guitars on the market. The majority of the steel guitars, from Sho-Bud forward in time, use a 1/2" x 13 thread thread to mount legs. Some of these are:

Derby

Emmons

Fessendon

Jackson

Lone Star

Marrs

Mullen (newer models)

Sho-Bud

Show Pro

Stage One – (Zum)

And many, many others.

Standard 1/2" x 13 plug

These legs fit the majority of modern steel guitars, especially pedal steel guitars. With few exceptions, the 1/2" x 13 plug has become standard with most builders.

LEG LENGTH IS VERY IMPORTANT
How to determine if your steel guitar uses standard length.

Measure the leg from shoulder to shoulder

If the steel guitar maker originally sold the steel guitar to a shorter person, the pedal rods and legs were probably sized to him. Thus, they may be shorter than standard.

A leg should be measured from the shoulder that touches pedal bar to the shoulder that touches the the steel guitar body. The standard is 23 1/4 inches or  59 cm. If you are replacing an old set of  shorter legs, we can size the new legs to your existing ones at a modest labor fee.
